Inspired by the conch shell in Hawaiian waters, this light installation highlights the intricate patterns, created by detailed carving into the clay on each segment of the shell light. The conch shell is used as a trumpet at traditional Hawaiian ceremonies to mark the official beginning. The shape of the conch shell produces a harmonious tone when it is blown, represented by the harmony of the sections of the shell coming together to create a unified arrangement.timeline
